Llano: Guided Hill Country Hike

May 13, 2017 - 9:00am to 11:00am
Hiking, birding, and enjoying nature!

Get outside and enjoy spring in Texas at Birk-Sommerfeld Heritage Ranch! This family-friendly guided hike will focus on wildflower and bird identification, sustainable land management, and the geology and hydrology of the Llano River. This event is a mild to moderate hike and a great activity for kids! AND it takes place the Saturday before Mother’s Day, so treat that special woman in your life (and the kids or grandkids) to a morning hike in the beautiful Hill Country!

Hikes are free for TLC annual members ($35/yr) and kids under 16. Non-members can pay $15 at the event. You can become a member with TLC at our website: http://www.texaslandconservancy.org/support-tlc/donate

Birk-Sommerfeld Heritage Ranch is a beautiful 444-acre working ranch located in the Hill Country and protected by Texas Land Conservancy. For the privacy of the property owners, address and directions will be sent out the week prior to the event.
