Kerrville: Kerrville Renaissance Festival

Now in its third year, the festival features added entertainment. The lineup inlcudes Last Chance Forever Birds of Prey Show, The Great Rhondini Escape Artist, Magical Mystical Michael the Magician, Sisters of the Dance, Cheeky Peacocks, Marty the Juggler, and sword fighting demonstrations by Ingram's Jomsborg Vinland South.
Live music will be provided by Lady Prudence, Coal Black Rose and The Dublin Harpers.
Visitors are encouraged to enter the Renaissance spriit by joining the actors and exhibitors dressed in period garb. Crafters will be on hand with yard art, henna body art, face painting, handmade hair garlands, hair braiding, works in wood, leather garments and accessories. The festival offers participatory activities for all ages, including archery, tomato tossing, and knife throwing.
Food choices include funnel cake, cinnamon roasted nuts, chocolate covered cheeze cake, turkey legs, kettle corn, deep fried candy bars, carmel apples, oreos, and pecan pie, and craft beers.
