Marble Falls: Balcones Canyon National Wildlife Refuge

Enjoy the nearly seven miles of trails, overlooks and photo blinds found throughout the refuge. This protected habitat supports two endangered bird species - the golden-cheeked warbler and the black-capped vireo. Special programs, tours, talks and walks are regularly scheduled, so check the website for events before you visit.

The refuge Headquarters is northwest of Austin, Texas. It is located on FM 1431 approximately five miles west of Lago Vista, one mile east of the intersection with Cow Creek Road/CR328.
